Nationals Wrap UP

Had a great nationals in San Diego. It was our first nationals and we finished 6th. The racing was tight and lots of fun. We are starting to get to know our boat a bit better and find its strengths and weaknesses so we can figure out how to get in there and beat those newer boats. Step one being not breaking things during races. In one race we were running 4th and we broke both our jib and spin halyards. Even after 3 days of inspection and rigging we still broke stuff during the race so it seems like we need to do a bit of strengthening in certain areas. All and all a great regatta and a great finish for us. Check us out on SailGroove

NATIONALS

The I14 nationals are taking place at San Diego Yacht Club this weekend. So far there are 15 boats registered and it should be a fun regatta. Wish us luck!

NOOD Regatta

This past weekend we sailed the Sailing World NOOD regatta in San Diego. We sailed a solid event winning the final race and finishing 4th overall. Our new sails proved to be very fast in all conditions and now it looks like a new kite will help with our downwind speed. Photos will be posted soon!
